Narsingdi: Hindu man hacked to death by unknown miscreants

A Hindu man was hacked to death in Palash Upazila of the Narsingdi district of Bangladesh. It is known that an autorickshaw driver named Anil Chandra Pal (50) of Parulia village of Jinardi union of the Upazila was hacked to death in front of his wife by unidentified miscreants.

It is known that this attack and murder happened on the evening of October 26. Deceased Anil Chandra Pal was an autorickshaw driver by profession. According to his wife, unknown miscreants attacked their house with sharp weapons yesterday evening. During the attack, they forcibly entered the house and started beating Anil Chandra Pal.

At one point, Anil Chandra Pal fell on the ground while bleeding. At that time, the miscreants attacked and injured his wife also. Later Anil Chandra Pal died due to excessive bleeding.

Lipan Debnath, president of Palash Upazila Hindu Mahazot, visited the scene and demanded the immediate arrest of the murderers and exemplary punishment.

Previously, a former UP member named Sujit Sutradhar (56) was hacked to death by local miscreants in the Narsingdi district of Bangladesh. Two others, including his son, were injured in this attack. He was killed at around 8 pm on Wednesday (June 22) at his business establishment in Hajipur Wood Bazaar in Sadar Upazila. Sujit Sutradhar was a former UP member of Hajipur Union Parishad’s Ward 2.
