Portrait of Hira Bai of Lucknow inside Nashipur Rajbari. Hira Bai was a very famous dancer during the 19th century. She was often brought over to Murshidabad where she performed for the Dugars, the Singhas(Nashipur) and the Nawab.
Hira Bai was exceptionally glamorous and she charged 500 swarnamudras for dancing for an hour.
