Like the previous several years, Hindu persecution in Bangladesh continues in 2023 also. The level of inhuman atrocities has crossed all the limits of tolerance of the Hindu community. Murder, attacks on Hindu religious institutions, land grabbing, forcefully conversion had became a general incident against the Hindu community in Bangladesh. The persecution against the Hindu community continues there resulting a sharp decrease of Hindu population.
In February 2023, there were numerous attacks on Hindu temples. Fourteen Hindu temples were vandalized in a single night in Rangpur. There were multiple cases of state persecution of Hindus for alleged blasphemy. Land grabbing, forcible eviction and other hate crimes continued.
