Like the previous several years, Hindu persecution in Bangladesh continues in 2023 also. The level of inhuman atrocities has crossed all the limits of tolerance of the Hindu community. Murder, attacks on Hindu religious institutions, land grabbing, forcefully conversion had became a general incident against the Hindu community in Bangladesh. The persecution against the Hindu community continues there resulting a sharp decrease of Hindu population.
In August 2023, conversion through by force and coercion dominated the headlines. Murders and physical assaults on Hindus continued. In addition to this, there were multiple cases of attacks on Hindu women.
For the month of August, several incidents of Hindu persecution in Bangladesh have been compiled together and published as a report. You can download the report here.
