Handial Jagannath Mandir

The Handial Jagannath Temple is located in Chatmohar Upazila of Pabna District, Bangladesh. The temple is dedicated to the Hindu god Jagannath. It is also known as the Handial Mandir, as called by the locals. The temple was built somewhere between 1300 and 1400 CE.

The temple is famous for its terracotta sculptures and has been described as one of the most beautiful Hindu temples in Northern Bangladesh. The temple is incurring damage due to high salinity from the soil it is built on. It is not well maintained and is subject to decay over time if the problem is not dealt with immediately.
