Like the previous several years, Hindu persecution in Bangladesh continues in 2023 also. The level of inhuman atrocities has crossed all the limits of tolerance of the Hindu community. Murder, attacks on Hindu religious institutions, land grabbing, forcefully conversion had became a general incident against the Hindu community in Bangladesh. The persecution against the Hindu community continues there resulting a sharp decrease of Hindu population.
In March 2023, attacks on Hindu temples and shrines, desecration and destruction of murtis of Hindu deities dominated the headlines. In addition to this, there were multiple cases of attacks on Hindu women. Land grabbing, forcible eviction and other hate crimes continued.
