25th March 1980: At 9am, Bangladesh army CO Maj. Khalequjjaman called for an urgent meeting at Poapara Buddhist temple. Purpose of this meeting was to help local villagers to build a Buddhist temple. Village headmen, leaders and nearby villagers were instructed to attend.
