Girish Chandra Roy built a park in Bandarbazar, Sylhet in memory of his father & named it ‘Govindacharan Park’. In 1959,d historic park was demolished to make way for a shopping mall.The park was renamed Hasan Market after d then Deputy Commissioner Ali Hasan.Which is still there
